Due to popular demand, the controversial comic has extended his critcally acclaimed tour, stopping off at the Royal & Derngate on March 10 2018
It has been a busy year for the Hunter – the last 12 months have seen him touring the UK and Ireland, selling out his Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, and appearing on TV shows 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Have I Got News For You, and the hugely popular three-part BBC2 series Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South which documented Reginald’s epic road trip from North Carolina to New Orleans through 150 years of American popular song.
During the 15 years in which he has lived in the UK, Reginald’s searingly honest material has garnered him a popular fanbase that spans the generations. His work can often be considered to be controversial but it is always meticulously thought out and he has never been afraid to face challenging issues head on, even when the focus is on his own principles or beliefs.
Reginald D Hunter performs on the Derngate stage on Saturday 10 March at 8pm. Tickets are priced at £25* and can be booked by calling Box Office on 01604 624811 or online at www.royalandderngate.co.uk. This performance is recommended for ages 18+.
