The Same Faces | Improv Comedy

Founded back in 2013 by comedian Tom Young, The Same Faces are an award winning Improv Comedy group based in Leicester, but they have a regular spot here in Northampton – performing on the last Saturday of every month at The Black Prince in Abingdon Square.

The group is made up of three regular players – Tom Young, Dave Gotheridge and Jen Kenny – plus a rotating cast of guest performers.

The Same Faces | Improv Comedy

The Same Faces perform “short form” improv – think Whose Line Is It Anyway, or the “Scenes We’d Like To See” section from Mock The Week. Their shows feature songs, scenes, one liners and games all based on suggestions from the audience – nothing is written beforehand, it is all made up on the spot! Which means no two shows are ever the same, and their brand of funny is guaranteed to have their audience returning time and time again.

Tickets can be reserved for £5 though Eventbrite, or turn up on the night and pay £7 on the door. Show starts at 8.30pm, with doors opening at 8, at The Black Prince, 15 Abingdon Square, NN1 4AE
