From Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 September 2019, the amateur group based in the 85 seater venue on Clare Street present J.B. Priestley’s Dangerous Corner.
Robert and Freda Caplan are entertaining guests at their country retreat. A chance remark by one of the guests ignites a series of devastating revelations, revealing a hitherto undiscovered tangle of clandestine relationships and dark secrets, the disclosures of which have tragic consequences.
Corinna Leader, who directed last year’s production of Ying Tong, is delighted to be back in the directors chair, with a cast of familiar faces to Northamptonshire audiences.
The cast features Jem Clack as Robert Caplan, Nicola Bunting as Freda Caplan, Georgie Maddock as Betty Whitehouse, Siôn Grace as Gordon Whitehouse. Georgina Pearson as Olwen Peel, Graham Lee as Charles Stanton and Gena McCrystal as Maud Mockridge
Dangerous Corner runs from Tue 10 – Sat 14 September 2019 at The Playhouse Theatre, Clare Street, Northampton. Performances start at 7.45pm
Tickets cost £9 and £8 for concessions, and may be booked by telephoning the box office on 01604 627791 (answerphone) or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
