Experimental Arts Event Verbal Menace

We’re really excited to be involved with Tickle Me Morbid and Lumen Arty Ltd‘s new experimental venture – Verbal Menace – which takes place at Foodies.Rocks, 22nd July from 8pm to 10pm.

The evening is designed as part networking event, part scratch night, offering local creatives the chance to try out new material while meeting like minded people, with a view to creating more collaborative projects across the county.

This first event offers distinct acts over the course of the evening – confirmed so far are soul singer and guitarist Manny Ademolu, and rapper and singer Dale May.

On the night, the audience will be able to experience lighting from Lumen Arty Ltd., as well as screenings of professional sketch shows and other filmed projects curated by Benji Dotan. These include the exclusive public screening of BOB Sketch (starring Lisa Ronaghan, Holli Dillon and Alice St Claire), Naked Film‘s award winning short film “Pull Out The Stopper” plus poet and beatboxer Greg Mahon and band OhBoy!

In the relaxed basement at Foodies.rocks, the audience can chill out watching the acts, enjoy the arcade games and table football, as well as Foodie’s street food menu and drinks deals at the Bar.

Tickets are £5 on the door, and the evening runs from 8pm to 10pm.
