The Comedy Crate goes from strength to strength, bringing the best comics on the UK circuit to The Charles Bradlaugh in Northampton each month. Thurs 10 May sees another strong line up take to the stage.
Paul McCaffrey: Star of BBC’s Impractical Jokers, Russell Howard’s Good News, Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central and Channel 4’s 50 Funniest. An accomplished radio presenter and guest, Paul has recently been heard on: talkSPORT, The Alternative Vote (Absolute), Rob Beckett’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Football (Absolute) and Russell Kane’s Whistlestop Tour (BBC Radio 2). He also presents The Paul McCaffrey Show every Saturday morning on Jack FM.
Paul is an award-winning comedian and headlines at the biggest comedy clubs in the country. He has performed four critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows as well as major music festivals Reading, Leeds, V Festival, Bestival and Latitude.

Zahra Barri: Zahra is half-Irish and half-Egyptian, a combination that makes stand-up comedy an almost unavoidable career choice. After hitting the scene in 2011, Zahra was almost immediately winning or being nominated for a heap of awards. She is now touring up and down the country and took her debut hour ‘Talk Like An Egyptian’ to Edinburgh in 2017.
Harry Stachini: Harry Stachini has quickly begun to establish himself as one of the strongest new acts on the circuit. With his easy-going style and likeable demeanour audiences can’t help but enjoy themselves. Harry welcomes them into his own world of brilliant stories and the unexpected one-liners that leaves them in stitches. Already getting gigs such as the Comedy Store, Glee Club and we’re delighted to welcome Harry to The Comedy Crate.
Adam Vincent (MC): Australian oddball and congenial story-teller Adam Vincent, with his hilarious observations and individual outlook on his discoveries’ (Funhouse Comedy). Adam Scott Vincent is a core writer of Channel 4’s award-winning satirical show ‘The Last Leg’. He was a semi-finalist in NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’ and is a regular Brighton Fringe favourite.
