The Canadian comic, seen recently on Roast Battle on Comedy Central, brings his new tour, Loudly Insecure, to The Lab, at The Corby Cube, on Feb 23.
Bobby Mair has become a regular on British TV screens, appearing on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Virtually Famous, Sweat the Small Stuff and his recent hit show, Bobby And Harriet Get Married. The show co-starred the love of his life Harriet Kemsley and followed the pair’s hilariously dysfunctional journey towards their impending marriage.
30 years ago, Bobby Mair was put up for adoption and now he’s tracking down his birth family one by one. Saying his search has hit a couple of snags would be an understatement and he still has relatives out there who continue to elude him – except for Justin Bieber. Loudly Insecure gives Bobby a chance to fill audiences in on the wildly dramatic twists and turns of his quest, the accidental broadening of his search for next of kin, plus a couple of other musings along the way; like his love of strangers, techniques to impress his personal trainer and if remembering virginity loss is inappropriate.
Bobby Mair brings Loudly Insecure to The Lab studio on Friday 23 February at 8pm. Tickets are priced at £13* and can be booked by calling Ticket Office on 01536 470470 or visiting www.thecorecorby.com. The show is recommended for ages 16 and above.
* A transaction fee of £1.50 applies to telephone and website bookings of £15 and over only. Does not apply in person, or to Groups, and is per-transaction, not per-ticket.
